Question by sourcheese: Are thier non secured loans out thier for people with bad credit?
I have multiple charge offs steming from about 5 years ago, 2 of which are in the process of taking me to court. This was prior to college. I now make close to 68,000 dollars a year, and am in the process of paying 350 a month to a charge off, and 500 a month to old college loan. I currently have 3 small credit cards which I am making current payments on, to establish a recent good payment history. Currently my fica is 609, 561, and 591 respectivly.
After I pay off one of my 5k charge offs, and am no longer in default on my college loans (about 3 more months for both) and continue current payments on my 3 new credit accounts… Do you think I can get a loan for 10thousand to settle with the rest of my charge offs and finally take care of this problem?

Have you considered going to a bank or credit union to try to take out a personal loan, so as to pay off your credit cards and pay the loan, which will be at a much lower interest rate?

Pay day loans are at 0 each, I would need so many that it wouldn’t help. Do you know anyone that gives large loans to people with bad credit?

No business gives large loans to credit risks. If they did, they wouldn’t be in business too long.

Is there any loan companies out there that are made for people with bad credit? Trying to purchase a home and can’t find a company that is willing to work with us. The loan isn’t a lot and we have enough of a down payment. Any help would be appreciated. And please no comments about taking care of our debt we have now. We have taken care of it and we do make enough money.

I wouldn’t call it a full credit check, but they will check to see if you have outstanding loans you’re not paying.
If at all possible, try not to use payday loans. Most of them charge a fee plus interest. Add them together and you’re getting shafted more than you can image.
Yeah I realize you don’t want to hear this, but keep this in mind. If it’s a one-time thing, fine. But if you keep going back and going back, that will just dig you in deeper.

No bank or credit union will grant unsecured personal loans to people with bad credit and you might run into problems even with a co-signer. Lending is tight right now and reserved for those with impeccable scores.
You can probably find a place to loan you the money (not the scammers who are replying with their hotmail, gmail and yahoo email addresses for non-existent “loan companies”), but the interest rate will be so high, it will take you decades to pay the money back.
